About Me

Hello From  Kansas:user1

A little about me:

I  work in the Information Technology field, hold a bachelors degree in Information Technology systems,  rarely wear tennis shoes, and love meat n’ potatoes. I was lucky and married the love of my life, together we have a have a little family.   When not at work, or working on other sites I enjoy playing cards & chess. I listen to country music, and keep busy with amateur ham radio events. I am a sucker for deals, frequenting auctions, estate sales, and Craigslist. Lately,  I have been keeping busy with a comic book project (http://brilliantlyeasy.com/comic-book-frame/), hanging them in frames and putting them down in  my nerd cave.  I live by the philosophy that you can learn something new from anyone that crosses your path. I keep a go with the flow attitude, trying my best at everything I undertake.

To be born a gentleman is an accident; to die as one is an achievement.

    THIS IS THE COOLEST SITE!!

Thanks for the creative ideas and pictures of your HUGE wall’o comic books. My brother is going to help put these in my room next to my sock monkey collection.
Can use photos from your site for my class project report?

    Thanks!

One more step needed for us Linux newbies. Start Network Manager. Select network and enter key.

    Never mind 🙂

The numbers in the url are 8188. The character in front is a lowercase L not a 1.

    Thanks again for posting

Hi, I’m trying to install a TL-WN725N wireless connection on a Ubuntu machine following your instructions. Thanks for posting it. All went well untill I executed the command with a URL. The response was a login prompt. I went to the same address with Firefox and saw it was a 404 screen. Now I’m stuck because I cannot proceed with the install. Help would be appreciated.

I thank you so much for your “brilliantly easy” way to display comic books… I recently started to collect Super Man comics and I have a desire to own one from every decade since they were published.

I only have 4 at the moment.

Also the quote. To be born a gentleman is an accident; to die as one is an achievement. Is ac ode to live by… you seem like a great guy!

    Your friend,
    Gordon
